3.8 million sold to stores not customers. Nice try Sony but that reeks of desperation.
Meh, those games you consider "ART" are too derivative and generic like most medival settings. Bioshock would be way further up the list than those games...
Yeah, their engine that is. It's like they can keep optimizing the engine and feed it to the 360 and bring forth a sight to behold. In Gears 3 it seems once they finished up the campaign, they went hog wild with the multiplayer. I mean I guess they felt like they couldn't squeeze a lot of that kind of stuff into the campaign. To put it another way, the online just has WAY more variety than the campaign. It's like to really fully experience Gears and what the UE can do, you have to...
I think you should re-read Da vinci's comment...
The Uncharted franchise's stories have never been brilliant, it's the way it's told that always has...
Smart move removing the multiplayer out of the review and being honest in calling it a single player review. If an online component of a game isn't a 10 then neither is the rest of the game...in its totality.
"i don't need a next gen when all the games out there (beside god of war 3/killzone 3)
dose not even look as good as uncharted 2 let alone 3"
Comments like that are the case and point reason I could never take people's comments seriously on this website, besides a handful of people, lol. I'm glad I'm not that delusional...
Nope, their statement is stupid. Best multiplayer? No one would choose MW over it? Wtf? The platform it sold the most on, still prefers two older versions of MW, so it's safe to say, EA is beyond delusional. What's worse is the first comment basically agrees with EA...a spade is a spade...
Great read and I'm anxious to get my hands on it. But alas I'm in fear of what changes review scores may have potentially imposed on these devs. I can't remember what web site tried to review this game, but the reviewer just had too hard of a time trying complete the first game. This person made the games difficulty level seem extremely brutal and although they may not be wrong, I still had a blast. This was totally based on the difficulty, graphics, weapons and last but not leas...
This kind of stuff makes people buy games used out of spite, lol, or at least think about it--I'm guilty. Seems to me they'll try to pass off boxes with manuals as some type of special edition. But for Nintendo games, it's always been a tradition to buy the strategy guide, so at least that's something... :/
Overrated, not to me, but Vanquish, that was WAY overrated.
Clocktower? Sweet! Next up? Escalation? I can dream cant I? But they'd be silly not to bring it back.
Yeah and the game isn't even out yet. I must admit though, I don't don't understand the Eurogamer review, and probably won't understand his complaints until I play the game for myself.
I've played 3 straight hours of "Booooom Snipes" and haven't had any issues. This type of stuff doesn't need to have an article, especially from a web site like ign and especially when it's a small case that would more than likely be resolved in a few hours. They should just leave it on the message boards. My opinion though...
How old are you people?
"t's just been thrown in there for more money"
Are you trying to tell me we have to pay for multiplayer separately?
I hope ME3 gets and uses all the updates of the enhanced UE. ME has always had great particle effects, but Gears 3 has risen the bar...
^^^
Just because an engine came out on a console first doesn't mean it runs better. With that said, Gears came out in '06, while UT3 came out in '07. Besides, I'd be modest in saying at least 80% of the UE3 games run better on the 360. What's the point in debating that?
What type of physics is UC using that other games aren't?
Lol, Sony fans still didn't buy 3.8 million copies of this game on day one. Pout all you want...
